Acquired in 1999, this is the most recent addition to Krupp Brothers. Adjacent to Stagecoach Vineyard, Krupp Brothers Vineyard has deeper soils which encourage the vines planted on high quality, slower growing rootstocks to thrive.
Based on recent harvests of Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah, and Chardonnay, the future for wines from this vineyard is very promising. Beginning with the 2006 vintage, Chardonnay grapes blended into Black Bart's Bride are sourced from Krupp Brothers Vineyard, as are Syrah grapes that go into 2005 Black Bart Syrah, Napa Valley.
