Varietal Composition: Tempranillo with small amounts of Cabernet Sauvignon, Malbec and Merlot

Winemaker's Notes: Deep red, black tints with orange hue; aromas of rhubarb, raspberries, blueberries, dark cherries, mocha intermingle with an amazing array of spices, including clove, cinnamon and nutmeg. The palate unfolds to reveal a multidimensional wine – flavors of cranberries, cherries, raspberries coupled with creamy vanillin oak gives way to firm dark chocolate-like tannins. Excellent now through 2017 with Spiced Moroccan rack of lamb, Veal chops and Tomme de Savoie or Serena cheese.
