Winemaker's Notes: Red-Black cherry hue. The nose displays savory aromas of leather, saffron, spice, sage, and dried cranberries. Nuanced, yet powerful flavors of sweet red currant, sour cherries, tar and lead pencil shavings lead into a full and smooth mid-palate. The finish is long and finely balanced with deliciously chewy tannins. Enjoy with prosciutto, eggplant and olive tapenade bruschetta, and Parmigiano Reggiano. Drink now through 2017.
