Winemaker's Notes: Purple ink in color. Sweet aromas of blueberries, black raspberries, and lavender as well as bacon fat and graphite. The palate is big and unctuous with mouth-filling flavors of raspberries, black raspberries, blueberries, vanilla, and smoky oak. The tannins transition seamlessly across teh palate of this full-bodied wine, with a strong and persistent finish. Great with green peppercorn duck terrine or roasted venison. Enjoy now through 2015.
